Eco-Friendly Practicality is Found in the 2017 Eco-Friendly Car of the Year, Toyota Prius

Environmentalism and practicality have met in the same car: the 2017 Toyota Prius. The Prius sparked a mainstream hybrid movement almost two decades ago, and shows no signs of slowing down. How do we know? The Prius has been named the 2017 Eco-Friendly Car of the Year by Cars.com.

There's plenty to love about the Prius, but a few things especially stand out for Frederick drivers.

Fuel efficiency: The Prius Two Eco gets up to 58 mpg city. That means the Prius not only helps you save the environment, but also your bank account.

Interior space: The Prius has 27.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat. But should you need even more space, fold the 60/40 split rear seat to get 65.5 cubic feet. That's as much as some SUVs.

Technology: Wireless smartphone charging, color Head-Up Display, Entune Premium Audio with Integrated Navigation and App Suite... and yet that's just the tip of the technological iceberg.
