HOPE provides emergency street outreach for the homeless in Longmont and offers supportive follow-through services. HOPE strives to eliminate barriers of access which keeps homeless individuals, who are at risk from living on the streets of Longmont. We provide basic needs supports such as food, water, clothing, and blankets or sleeping bags, and referrals to appropriate social service agencies for follow-up or more comprehensive care.
Founded in 1966, Longmont Symphony Orchestra strives to promote the appreciation and understanding of music in the community. Between concerts and school outreach programs, LSO provides the musical backdrop to our community.
Blue Sky Bridge was established to provide a safe and supportive environment for abuse victims where a neutral, professionally-led forensic interview provides case information for all participating law enforcement, judicial and social service agencies. Blue Sky Bridge's Child Advocacy Program collaborates with other agencies such as law enforcement, the Department of Housing and Human Services, the District Attorney's Office, County Health, Mental Health, and Victim Service Programs to provide a comprehensive, supportive and professional response to child abuse cases.
The seventh largest school district in the state, SVVS is home to more than 32,000 students. St. Vrain Valley has built a 21st century portfolio of instructional focused schools. St. Vrain Valley Schools is forward thinking school district, anticipating the changing needs of their students and responding to helps ensure success once a student graduates. This would not be possible without the communication and collaboration with the community.
Since 1972, Longmont Humane Society has been the premier animal sheltering and welfare organization in north Boulder County. LHS is an open-admission facility that treats each animals as an individual, offering shelter, food, medical and behavioral support.
